No-contract plans (no minimum term) let you switch providers any month if a better deal comes up. Most Swiss MVNOs offer this by default. Only the big three (Swisscom, Sunrise, Salt) and some MVNOs like TalkTalk or Lebara still require 12-24 month contracts.
No-contract does not mean lower quality - the network coverage is identical. It just means more flexibility if your needs change or new promos appear.
