Who we are
We're a small team based in Switzerland. We've been working with telecom data and the industry for years. And one thing struck us: finding the right plan is unnecessarily complicated.
Providers outdo each other with deals, combo discounts and footnotes in the small print. Most comparison sites don't make it any better. Sponsored rankings, hidden affiliate deals, opaque sorting.
So we sat down and built handyabo.com. With one goal: make plan comparison as simple and honest as possible. In a modern design that doesn't look like it's from the 2000s.

How we check prices
We check the plans weekly. Deviations above a defined threshold are verified by hand before they go live on the site.
How we rate: the Deal Score
Every plan gets a score from 0 to 100. The higher, the better the overall package. No subjective opinion. Just data.
The score is made up of four areas:
Fair price
max. 50 pointsWe only compare plans that offer the same thing. An unlimited EU plan doesn't compete with a CHF 15 Switzerland plan. So you can see right away whether you're paying a fair price for your category.
No small print
max. 25 pointsDoes the price go up after the deal? Do you need a combo internet plan? Is the speed throttled? Are there activation fees? The fewer traps, the better the score.
What you actually get
max. 15 pointsUnlimited isn't always unlimited. We rate whether 5G is included, how much EU roaming you really get, whether the router supports symmetric speeds. The details that matter.
Stay flexible
max. 10 pointsCan you cancel any time? Or are you locked in for 24 months? Staying flexible means you can switch to a better deal any time.

Transparency and independence: how we are funded
handyabo.com is operated technologically by Connect AI. As an independent technology company, Connect AI primarily builds B2B software and IT solutions for a range of industries, including players in the Swiss telecommunications market (among them GGA Maur, Digital Republic, Aldi Mobile).
Between the B2B business and the consumer portal handyabo.com we keep a clear separation:
- The ranking of plans is 100 % automated and purely mathematical (based on price, data volume and roaming).
- There is no editorial or manual preference for any provider. B2B clients of the technology operator have no influence whatsoever on how their plans are presented, sorted or rated on handyabo.com.
Frequently asked questions
Which providers do you earn a commission from?
For 6 of the 22 mobile providers we compare there is a commission agreement for referred signups: Digital Republic, iWay, Sunrise, TalkTalk, SAK Digital and Lycamobile. For the other 16 we link without any compensation. An agreement is not the same as revenue, with several of these providers not a single signup has come about so far. In no case does it cost you anything extra.
How current are the prices?
We check the plans weekly. Between two checks a provider can change something we don't see yet. If you spot a discrepancy, tell us and we'll correct it promptly.
Which providers do you include?
Every provider offering Swiss mobile plans to private customers with publicly listed prices. There are no paid placements, and nobody can buy their way in. If you're missing one, get in touch.
