FAQ about Wingo

Wingo has 9 mobile plans on the Swisscom network, all without a minimum term and all with 5G. Even the cheapest one, from CHF 17.95/month, includes unlimited data in Switzerland. Above that the plans differ mainly in roaming, from a few gigabytes in the EU up to unlimited data in more than 40 countries. Current prices are in the plan cards above.
Wingo uses the Swisscom network, Switzerland's best mobile network with over 99% indoor coverage and 5G in all major cities. Network quality is identical to a Swisscom direct plan.
Wingo is a 100% subsidiary of Swisscom and therefore fully reliable. Wingo was set up to reach digital-first customers who don't need in-store service but still want Swisscom network quality.
Same network, but up to 70% cheaper. Trade-off: no store support, no device sales directly through Wingo, everything runs via the myWingo self-service portal. If you want phone or in-person advice, stick with Swisscom direct or switch to Migros Mobile (also Swisscom network, with stores).
Yes, all Wingo plans include 5G on the Swisscom 5G network. 5G is widely available in Swiss cities.
Yes, Wingo offers free eSIM (CHF 0 activation). Setup via the myWingo self-service portal with QR code, activation in minutes.
Yes, but not in every plan. Swiss Go and Red Swiss are Switzerland-only, though Red Swiss does include 60 minutes of calls from Switzerland to the EU and UK. Swiss Max, Red, Europe Go and Red Pro add increasing amounts of data abroad, with Red and Red Pro also covering the USA, Canada and Turkey. Unlimited data abroad is limited to Europe Max and International Pro. The exact allowance per plan is in the cards above.
All three run on the Swisscom network, so coverage is the same. Mucho is cheapest at entry level, with very small plans of a few minutes and megabytes. Wingo and Migros Mobile start higher, but at Wingo even the cheapest plan is already unlimited. For roaming Wingo has the widest range, while Migros Mobile adds Cumulus points. Live prices are in the calculator.
